How to choose a SUP wall rack
Look at the contact, not the capacity: Almost every rack here holds a paddle board's weight comfortably. What differs is how the load is spread, and a strap cradle or a wide felt arm treats a board far better over years than a narrow foam tube.
Find the studs first: A board rack transfers its whole load into two or four fixings, and drywall anchors are not rated for that in shear over time. Locate wall studs or use proper masonry anchors, and let the wall dictate the rack position rather than the other way round.
Measure your board's thickness: Inflatable boards are six inches thick, and some racks are designed around a three inch surfboard. The published numbers here run from 8 to 10 inches of clearance, so check yours rather than assuming.
Store inflatables deflated if the rack is tight: A rolled inflatable in a bag on a shelf is fine indefinitely. Left inflated on a hard armed rack for a winter, it takes a visible crease. If you leave it inflated, drop the pressure a little and use a strap or wide arm rack.

Yes, and it is convenient if you paddle often. Drop the pressure by a few PSI so the seams are not held at full load, keep it out of direct sun, and use a rack with wide or strap supports.
