Aldi has sold paddle boards in the United States exactly the way it sells everything else: once, in June, until they are gone.

Two boards are documented. An AquaCruz Suncruzer 10 in June 2022, and a Bestway Hydro-Force Aqua Journey in June 2023.

Neither is a permanent product, and there is no Aldi paddle board on shop.aldi.us as we write this.

So this page covers what those boards actually were, and four you can order today at the same kind of money.

Why this page exists: Aldi paddle boards are Aldi Finds, which means one delivery per store and no restock. If you are reading this outside the last week of June, there is almost certainly nothing on the shelf. More boards at this price are in our cheap paddle board ranking.

What Aldi has sold

Aldi does not run a paddle board line. It buys a container, puts it in the middle aisle for a summer, and does not repeat it. Two boards are documented in the US, both landing in the last ten days of June.

  • AquaCruz Suncruzer 10, from 22 June 2022: 10 ft by 32 in by 6 in, Aldi product code 706560. Package was a three piece paddle, a high pressure hand pump, an ankle coil leash, a repair kit, a waterproof bag and a carry bag.
  • Bestway Hydro-Force Aqua Journey, from 21 June 2023: 9 ft by 30 in, rated to 220 lb, with an 85 in paddle, a single stroke hand pump, a backpack, a leash and a repair kit. Two year warranty.
  • 2024, 2025 and 2026: no paddle board is documented, and nothing is listed on shop.aldi.us as of August 2026. That is a gap in the record rather than a confirmed absence.

The pattern that does hold across both years is the timing. Both boards arrived in the last ten days of June, which is when an Aldi paddle board is worth watching for if you want one. The rest of the year, the boards below are the alternative.

Better alternatives to an Aldi paddle board

All four are complete packages in the Aldi price band, all four are in stock all year, and the first is the closest match to the Suncruzer.

1. Roc 10 ft 6 Paddle Board

Six inches longer than the Suncruzer, an inch wider, and it does not disappear when the pallet does.

#1

Roc 10 ft 6 Paddle Board

Closest match
  • Size10 ft 6 x 33 in
  • Capacity350 lb
  • In the boxPaddle, pump, leash, backpack
  • Warranty3 years

Best for: A first board for calm lakes and slow rivers.

Roc sells more boards on Amazon than any other budget brand, and the reason is visible in the package: board, paddle, pump, leash and backpack for the price other brands charge for the board alone. The 10 ft 6 by 33 in outline is the classic all round shape.

Strengths

  • Complete kit, nothing to buy twice
  • 350 lb capacity
  • Three year warranty from a US seller

Weaknesses

  • The aluminium paddle is the part most owners replace first

Three hundred and fifty pounds of capacity and a 33 in waist is more board than either Aldi has sold, and Roc is the volume seller in this class for exactly that reason.

2. PORTAL 10 ft 6 Paddle Board

The one thing an Aldi board is genuinely good at is being cheap enough to try. The one thing that decides whether it gets used is how heavy it is to carry.

  • Size10 ft 6 x 33 in x 6 in
  • Capacity300 lb
  • Board weight17.8 lb
  • Warranty3 years

Best for: Smaller paddlers and anyone who loads the board alone.

PORTAL keeps the weight down to under 18 lb, which is the difference between carrying a board to the water and dragging it. Three fins, two fixed and one removable, keep it tracking straight.

Strengths

  • Light at 17.8 lb
  • Three fin setup
  • Full kit and phone bag

Weaknesses

  • Lowest capacity in this list at 300 lb

At 17.8 lb this is the lightest board on the page. A board you can carry from the car to the water in one trip is a board that gets used on a Tuesday evening.

3. SKADDLES 10 ft 6 Paddle Board

If what you wanted was specifically a 10 ft 6 all round board because that was the size Aldi sold, this is the direct replacement.

  • Size10 ft 6
  • DeckFull length non slip EVA
  • In the boxPump, paddle, leash, phone pouch, fins
  • UseLakes, yoga, fishing

Best for: Anyone replacing a discontinued 10 ft 6 all rounder.

A straight 10 ft 6 all rounder with the deck pad running the whole length, which matters if the board gets used for yoga or fishing rather than only paddling.

Strengths

  • Same format as the classic budget boards
  • Full length deck pad
  • Complete kit

Weaknesses

  • No standout feature beyond the basics

It is a straightforward all round board with no unusual claims attached, which is the right expectation to bring to a board at this price.

4. FunWater 10 ft 6 Paddle Board

And if the appeal of the middle aisle was that everything came in one box for one price, that is a thing you can buy deliberately rather than by luck.

  • Size10 ft 6 x 33 in x 6 in
  • Fins3 removable
  • In the boxPaddle, pump, leash, backpack, phone bag
  • Warranty3 years

Best for: Buyers who want one box with everything in it.

FunWater ships the complete beginner set: board, adjustable paddle, three fins, pump, leash, backpack and a waterproof phone pouch. The 10 ft 6 by 33 in shape is the standard all rounder.

Strengths

  • Everything included, phone pouch as well
  • Centre carry handle
  • Three year board warranty

Weaknesses

  • Hand pump only, no electric option in the box

The kit is genuinely complete: paddle, pump, leash, bag, fin and repair kit, so the day it arrives is the day you can go.

How did the Aldi paddle board change over time?

There is no continuous product to track, because Aldi bought a different board each time. The two documented years are worth comparing directly.

  • The price halved: the 2023 board cost about half what the 2022 one did, which is not a discount but a cheaper board.
  • The board shrank: 10 ft by 32 in by 6 in in 2022, 9 ft by 30 in in 2023. That is a meaningfully smaller and less stable platform.
  • The supplier changed: AquaCruz in 2022, Bestway Hydro-Force in 2023. Bestway is a known inflatables manufacturer, AquaCruz was a name on a pallet.
  • The capacity was published in 2023 and not in 2022: 220 lb on the Bestway, which is low, and unstated on the AquaCruz.

Pro & Con

Pros

  • Complete package, nothing else to buy
  • Six inch thickness, the stiffer of the two common builds
  • Ten feet by thirty two inches is a sensible first size
  • Waterproof bag included, which most cheap packages omit
  • Aldi returns policy applies while the store still has the product on file

Cons

  • One delivery per store and no restock
  • Capacity was never published
  • AquaCruz is a supplier name, not a brand with support
  • Hand pump only
  • No spare parts route once the season ends

Built & Material

Six inches of thickness is the important number here, and the Suncruzer had it. A 6 in board at 10 ft holds an adult without folding in the middle, which is not true of the 4 in boards that used to fill this price bracket.

Aldi published no laminate detail and no board weight, which is normal for a middle aisle product. At this price a single layer drop stitch build is the safe assumption.

The 2023 Bestway that replaced it dropped to 9 ft by 30 in and published a 220 lb rating. That is the more honest listing of the two, and it describes a smaller board.

Weight Limit

Aldi never published a capacity figure for the Suncruzer, which is itself worth knowing. For a 10 by 32 by 6 in board, the sensible working assumptions are these.

  • Comfortable paddler weight: up to about 200 lb (90 kg)
  • Paddler with a bag: up to roughly 230 lb (105 kg)
  • A passenger or a large dog: not on a board this size

The 2023 Bestway that followed it was rated 220 lb on a smaller board, which gives a reasonable sense of the class. The Roc above rates 350 lb.

Intended Use & Riding Characteristics

Ten feet by thirty two inches is the classic first board shape: short enough to turn easily, wide enough to stand on without drama, and not long enough to glide far between strokes.

For a lake, a slow river or a sheltered bay it is the right amount of board. On open water it will feel short, and into any wind it will wander, which is what length buys you and what a 10 ft board does not have.

The removable fin means the board packs flat, and the D-ring and bungee mean the basics of tying a bag down are covered. Everything else about how it paddles comes down to whether you got it up to full pressure with the hand pump.

Design

The Suncruzer looked like what it was: a supermarket board in bright colours, designed to be recognisable on a pallet from across the shop floor.

The deck layout was conventional. EVA pad, central carry handle, bungee storage at the nose and a D-ring for the leash.

Features

  • 6 in thickness, the stiffer of the two common builds
  • Removable fin, so it packs flat
  • Safety valve and a proper high pressure hand pump
  • Waterproof bag included, unusual at this price
  • Bungee tie down with a carry handle in the deck pad

Accessory

The Suncruzer package was complete for the money, which is the main reason a middle aisle board is ever worth buying.

  • Three piece paddle
  • High pressure hand pump
  • Ankle coil leash
  • Waterproof bag
  • Carry bag
  • Repair kit

What no Aldi package includes is a route to a spare part. Once the season ends there is no supplier to contact for a replacement fin or a new valve, which is the real difference between this and a board from a brand that will still exist next summer.

FAQ

Does Aldi sell paddle boards?

Only occasionally, as an Aldi Find. Two are documented in the US: an AquaCruz Suncruzer 10 from 22 June 2022 and a Bestway Hydro-Force Aqua Journey from 21 June 2023. Nothing is listed on shop.aldi.us as of August 2026.

When does Aldi sell paddle boards?

Both documented boards arrived in the last ten days of June. If you want one, that is the window to watch, and there is no restock once a store sells out.

How do the two Aldi paddle boards compare?

The 2022 AquaCruz Suncruzer 10 was the bigger and better equipped of the two. The 2023 Bestway Hydro-Force Aqua Journey cost about half as much and was also a smaller board, 9 ft by 30 in rather than 10 ft by 32 in.

Are Aldi paddle boards any good?

For the price, the 2022 Suncruzer was reasonable: 6 in thick, a complete package and a sensible first board size. What you do not get is a published capacity figure, a brand that will still exist next summer, or any way to buy one outside of one week in June.

Conclusion

Aldi paddle boards are worth buying if you happen to be standing in front of one in late June and it is the right size. The 2022 Suncruzer was a fair board with a complete kit.

What they are not is something you can plan around. One delivery, no restock, no published capacity and no supplier afterwards. The Roc covers the same ground with more capacity and a listing that will still be there next week.
